A Message from the Chairman

Taste of Henry grew out of a love for our county's great restaurants. Now celebrating its ninth year, Taste of Henry has become one of the southside's most anticipated spring events. Taste of Henry features exciting creations from McDonough, Stockbridge, Hampton, and Locust Grove restaurants both large and small, high-end and inexpensive.
As Henry County has grown, so has the incredible variety of restaurants. Thankfully, diners no longer need to leave the county limits to explore one of life's great pleasures. Taste of Henry provides an avenue for these local restaurants, chefs, and culinary entrepreneurs to showcase their talents in a way that is fun for the whole family. We all seem to frequent the same restaurants all the time, so why not use this opportunity to try a new restaurant - or 20 new restaurants! The choice is yours, and there is something for everyone at Taste of Henry.
As a lifelong resident of Henry County, McDonough business owner, and an Executive Board member of A Friend's House, I am thrilled to be a part of an event that gives back to the children of our community. Since A Friend's House opened in 1998, more than 1,500 newborn to 18-year-old residents have passed through its doors. Your participation in Taste of Henry makes it possible for A Friend's House to continue the vital role it serves in our community. A Friend's House is definitely the "house" that Henry built; with your help it will stay that way for many years to come.
Tastefully yours,

Beau Kelley Chairman, Taste of Henry 2010 Email: beau@buddykelleyproperties.com
